BSA Relives Thunderbolt With The Form Of A 350 Cc Adventure Motorcycle
JAKARTA The legendary British brand, BSA, which since 2016 belongs to Mahindra Group officially introduced his newest adventure motorbike named BSA Thunderbolt at the 2025 EICMA event which took place in Milan, Italy. Various modern features were embedded in the motorbike.
In terms of design, this motor features an adventurer style through the use of an engine shield (bash plate), a hand shield (knuckle guard), an exoskeleton frame, and an upswept model exhaust that improves its ability when crossing puddles.
The instrument panel is full of Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and USB ports for device charging needs. The name Thunderbolt was taken from the classical BSA model that was last produced in 1972.
Through this motorbike, BSA seeks to revive its old legacy in modern format. This model was developed under the auspices of Classic Legends Pvt Ltd, a company that also oversees the Java and Yezdi brands.
The latest BSA Thunderbolt is ready for adventure and is designed to conquer long distances. Combining dynamical capabilities on both the on-road and off-road terrain, unmatched performance, as well as ease of use, our new bike provides confidence for its riders. These motors are aimed at those who want to go anywhere and do anything, who are looking for new goals and want to believe that their motors will not only take them to their desired place, but also raise all the senses throughout the journey, said Legends' Co-founder Pvt Ltd Boman Irani, a company that has a BSA brand, quoted from the manufacturer's website, Thursday, November 4.
Machine platforms and frames are said to be sharing technology with the two brands, but still maintain the identity and character of BSA. Thunderbolt became the first adventure model the company developed with a modern approach without leaving the classic character of BSA.
This motorbike is equipped with a single 334 cc DOHC cylinder with a liquid cooler that meets the Euro 5+ emission standard. The six-acceleration transmission is claimed to provide optimal balance between energy and efficiency, making it suitable for travel on asphalt and light offroad lines.
