AGTI Supports The Government In Realizing President Prabowo's Asta Cita
JAKARTA - The Association of Indonesian Garments and Textiles or AGTI fully supports the Presidential Government program Prabowo Subianto. One proof of the seriousness of this association in supporting President Prabowo's asta program is AGTI's efforts to participate in boosting the competitiveness of local garment and textile products with Pancasila's economic value.
AGTI has also recently met with the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa to hold an audience, where AGTI's arrival was well received by the ranks of the Ministry of Finance.
General Chairperson of AGTI, Anne Patricia Sutanto said, to realize the Pancasila economy as expected by the government, cross-sector collaboration between entrepreneurs and the government is needed as well as entrepreneurs and fellow entrepreneurs. If this collaboration goes well, the economic potential of Pancasila can double, even Indonesia's economic growth can surpass developed countries and countries that have been Indonesian competitors.
"We at the Indonesian Garmen and Textile Association are very confident that all of our partners, namely the government, business partners and also workers represented by various united unions within the Pancasila economy, of course we can increase our potential to double and not impossible and it is very possible that we will exceed the countries that are currently our important competitors. we are united," said AGTI General Chair, Anne Patricia Sutanto, in a written statement, Thursday, November 6.
Anne appealed to all stakeholders, including the government, businessmen and various trade unions to unite to create jobs that are conducive and competitive.
"The only government, entrepreneurs and trade unions are an absolute requirement to realize the Pancasila economy," he explained.
Anne also asked all garment and textile entrepreneurs to always work hand in hand to develop this industrial ecosystem, because the garment and textile industry also greatly contribute to absorbing jobs from all walks of life with different educational backgrounds.

"Because the third principle is that we are Indonesian unity, we want that we appeal to all stakeholders of the garment and textiles to care for this labor-intensive industry because this provides a good industrial transformation because our workers don't always have to be undergraduate, master's degree, we can't even try in industry 4.0 which is a program from the Ministry of Industry," he said.
Anne added, AGTI believes that building the TPT industry is not only efficient and competitive, but also of social justice, according to the principles of Pancasila's economy. The approach is not just business, but creates added value and new jobs together with the government and workers as business partners and academics in AGTI.
