Ecoutez Celebrates Friendship Through Our New Single Story
Jakarta - The jazz pop band, which was formed in the early 2000s, Ecoutez, again greeted loyal listeners with very personal new works.
After nearly two decades of being synonymous with a broken heart melody, the band which is now fronted by Delia (vocals), Leo (bass), Iyas (keyboards), and Jay (drums) chose to celebrate their friendly bond through the latest single entitled "Our Story".
This single offers a different narrative from their previous hits, such as "Believe me" or "Save Only".

The emotional moment that is the main key to this song is the return of the vocalist, Delia, after having been on hiatus from the band for 12 years. Delia's reunion with the band's initial formation is clearly reflected in the lyrics and nuances of the song.
"This song is an expression of our gratitude and happiness. Even though we were separated, in the end, the family will always find a way to get back together," said Delia in her statement, Wednesday, November 5.

Musically, "Our Story" still maintains a typical jazz pop dress attached to the hearts of Indonesian music lovers. However, the arrangement is enriched with a touch of string section creating warm harmony, feelingsful melody, and touching lyrics.
This composition makes it a work that is ready to be a sign of togetherness, friendship, and eternal love.
The song "Kita Kita" is the result of the collaboration of four songwriters: Widyo Prastowo, Fajrul Ahsan Fikri, Leo Christian, and Amelia Septianti. Meanwhile, the producer's producer position and executive was entrusted to Pahlevi Indra C. Santoso.
Through "Our Story", Ecotez seems to be celebrating their existence and reunion after a long time, returning with a more mature spirit and story.
