KAI Adjusts Train Schedules Starting December 1, Temporary Ticket Orders Are Closed

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI will adjust the schedule and pattern of train travel in all its operational areas (Daop 1 to 9) starting December 1, 2025.

KAI Vice President of Public Relations, Anne Purba, said this step was taken to improve customer safety, operational efficiency, and comfort.

"In connection with the renewal process, booking tickets for trips in December 2025 has not been possible," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, November 5.

Currently, continued Anne, customers can only buy tickets until November 30, 2025, through the official KAI channel, namely the Access by KAI application, the booking.kai.id website, Call Center 121, and other official KAI partners.

Furthermore, Anne said this update is part of an effort to bring a more reliable and timely journey.

"KAI ensures that the entire adjustment process goes well so that customer travel remains safe, comfortable, and on time," said Anne.

Anne said KAI would soon announce the reopening of December ticket orders after the entire adjustment process was completed.

"We apologize for the inconvenience during the process and urge the public to monitor official information through the @KAI121 account, the kai.id website, or Call Center 121," concluded Anne.
