Ministry Of Hajj Prepares Intensive Training For Hajj Officers 2026
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has prepared an intensive training program for Hajj administrators (PPIH) who will serve in the 2026 Hajj season as part of efforts to improve service professionalism to pilgrims.
"This training focuses on increasing the competence of duties and service functions, strengthening discipline, and basic communication capabilities in Arabic," said Minister of Hajj (Menhaj) and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf in a working meeting with Commission VIII DPR reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 5.
The training, said Irfan continued, will be attended by officers who have passed the national selection and are scheduled to take place from January to February 2026.
He explained that the education and training program (diklat) or technical guidance (bimtek) became a further stage after the selection process for Hajj officers which was carried out in stages and based on an integrated information system.
He also said that the briefing was important so that officers had optimal readiness to provide services that were quickly responsive, professional, and oriented towards congregational satisfaction and safety, both in the country and in Saudi Arabia.
In addition to technical materials related to field duties, Irfan said the training also includes coaching service ethics, strengthening the value of integrity, and simulating emergency situations during the Hajj.
Through comprehensive coaching, the government hopes that all officers will be able to be at the forefront of ensuring that the quality of organizing the 2026 Hajj runs more orderly, efficient, and friendly to the congregation.
