Royal Enfield Shows Off Flyingflea S6 At EICMA 2025, Electric Motors With Bicarambler Style

JAKARTA Royal Enfield introduced the latest electric motorcycle, Flyingflea FF.S6 (S6), at the EICMA 2025 event in Milan, Italy. This model is part of the Flying Flee line, which signifies the more aggressive move by the Indian manufacturer in entering the segment of light electric vehicles.

Royal Enfield Manager and CEO B. Govindajran, said that the launch of the S6 will be the successor to the previous model, FF.C6. This market has not yet been fully formed, but will develop over time and we are confident it can grow this category gradually," he said as quoted by Visordown, Wednesday, November 5.

The S6 is designed as a light electric scambler that carries the spirit of urban exploration and use on light routes. This motor uses a light frame with a 19-inch front tire and 18-inch rear tire.

The front suspension relies on an upside-down fork type, while the driving system eventually uses a chain. Battery packages are placed in magnesium casings with air-cooled designs to increase structure efficiency and stiffness.

Royal Enfield also provides Flying FIRE S6 with advanced electronic systems, including round touchscreens, 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, there is also an off-road driving mode, two ABS channels with inclination angle detection, as well as traction controls to maintain stability in various road conditions.

Behind its electronic system, the S6 relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 main processor that allows over the air software updates. Users can also connect these bikes with smartphones and mobile phone apps to monitor battery status and vehicle systems in real time.

Royal Enfield targets global shipments of Flying Flee S6 by the end of 2026. The motor will be manufactured at the Vallam Vadagal plant, Tamil Nadu, India, with the support of engineering teams from India and the UK.

The name 'Flying Flee' itself is taken from the history of light motors used during times of war as a vehicle for parachuting troops. The electric version is now present with characters that remain mild, agile, and versatile, but carry modern technology and a zero-emission driving system.

Even so, Royal Enfield has not disclosed details regarding battery capacity, distance, or selling price of Flying Flee S6. Its global launch will be an important test for the company in dealing with the transition to the electric vehicle era.
