Train Tickets For December Can't Be Ordered, This Is The Cause

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta said that booking train tickets for December 2025 could not be done due to an update in train travel schedules and patterns in all operational areas (Daop 1-9).

"Currently, customers can buy tickets until the date of departure on November 30, 2025 through all official KAI channels, namely the Access by KAI application, the booking.kai.id website, Call Center 121, and official KAI partners," said KAI Daop 1 Public Relations Manager Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko. reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 5.

Ixfan has not been able to confirm the reopening time of train ticket reservations for December 2025. KAI will soon announce the reopening of December ticket reservations after the adjustment process is complete.

"We apologize for the inconvenience during the process," he said.

He conveyed that this schedule update and travel pattern was part of an effort to bring a more reliable and timely journey.

"KAI ensures that the entire adjustment process goes well so that customer travel remains safe, comfortable, and on time," said Ixfan.

Meanwhile, prospective train passenger Yanti (33) admitted that since Tuesday (4/11) night she could not order train tickets for departures in December 2025, either through the KAI application, KAI website, or online travel agents.

The woman who lives in Depok, West Java, said that she could not book a train ticket to Yogyakarta since Tuesday (4/11) night, even though she was planning to travel in mid-December 2025.

PT KAI's X social media page then informed that the ticket booking for the December 2025 departure train could not be done because there was an adjustment to the travel pattern.

PT KAI asks prospective passengers to monitor regularly via the Access by KAI application on the "Antarkota" menu starting from D-45 before departure.
