Joji Announces Release Date for Fourth Album, Piss In The Wind

JAKARTA - The long-awaited news from charismatic singer, songwriter, and producer Joji has finally arrived. He announced the imminent release of his fourth album, titled Piss In The Wind.

The album is scheduled to be released on February 6, 2026, via Palace Creek. Fans can pre-order the album in CD and LP formats.

When announcing this exciting news, Joji also shared another song from the album, "If It Only Gets Better," accompanied by a music video.

While Pixelated Kisses evokes a somewhat different feel, there will still be a side of Joji to discover on the upcoming album.

Piss In The Wind bridges Joji's past and present sonically, balancing melancholic and visceral writing with rough yet atmospheric production. "If It Only Gets Better" harkens back to Joji's lo-fi roots, blending acoustic guitar with syncopated bass and soaring harmonies.

Joji's new single music video, directed by James Mao, playfully references his breakthrough song "YEAH RIGHT" from BALLADS 1, balancing frenetic, clubby visuals with minimalist yet profound lyrics.

In October, Joji quietly released "PIXELATED KISSES," his first new music since SMITHEREENS in 2022. It included the RIAA-certified 2x Platinum track "Glimpse of Us" and reached #1 on Spotify's Global 50. Following its release, "PIXELATED KISSES" achieved tens of millions of global streams within hours, debuting atop the Billboard Hot 100, and subsequently charting on the Billboard Top 200 and Pop charts.

Since his breakthrough in 2017, Joji has released four critically acclaimed studio albums: BALLADS 1 (2018), which included the RIAA-certified 5x Platinum single “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK,” Nectar (2020), and SMITHEREENS (2022), which featured his top single to date, “Glimpse of Us.”

In support of these projects, he has toured internationally and performed at major festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Reading & Leeds. In 2023, he launched the OBLIVION and PANDEMONIUM arena tour, which included 41 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, Kia Forum, Crypto.com Arena, United Center, and Gunnersbury Park in London.
