Waskita Karya Targets Jakarta LRT Velodrome Route Completed June 2026

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) targets the construction of the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT for the Velodrome 'Manggarai route to be completed in June 2026.

Waskita President Director Muhammad Hanugroho said the construction of the Jakarta LRT phase 1B was a priority project for the company. He targets the project to be completed in June next year.

"Of course this is also Waskita's priority to solve what we hope will be completed in June 2026," said Hanugroho at the 2025 Public Expose, Tuesday, November 4.

Waskita Karya was involved in the construction of the Jakarta LRT through KSO Waskita-Nindya LRS as the main contractor for development. The KSO was appointed by PT Jakarta Propertindo as the project owner through the tender process.

The total project budget reached IDR 4.1 trillion. The funds came from Regional Capital Participation (PMD) to PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) which was sourced from the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget.

As of October 10, the latest progress from the construction of the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT Route Velodrome Manggarai has reached 74.37 percent.

Director of Operations I Waskita Karya Ari Asmoko said that currently the focus of work on the upper structure and rail line or trackwork. It is targeted that by 2026 the building will be completed and can be used.

"The work at Rawamangun Station is already in the finishing stage. Then, at the BPKP and Matraman Scout Stations, we are carrying out architectural work, while at the Pramuka Market we are installing the PCI (Precast Prestressed Concrete I) girder and at Manggarai Station, the upper structure is carried out," he explained in a written statement some time ago.
