Ashanty Employees Apply For Suspension Of Detention, Reasons For Wanting To Focus On Facing Civil Trials

JAKARTA - Ayu Chairun Nurisa, a former employee of Ashanty who is now a suspect in an embezzlement case, has officially submitted a request for a suspension of detention.

His attorney, Stifan Heriyanto, explained that this application was submitted so that Ayu could focus more on dealing with a series of other ongoing legal processes, especially civil hearings.

According to Stifan, there is a strong legal basis for this submission.

"There is Perma, there is SEMA, there is jurisprudence, which if there is a civil process that is ongoing, then the criminal process will be suspended first," said Stifan Heriyanto at the West Jakarta Police, Tuesday, November 4.

He emphasized that this request came directly from Ayu who wanted to oversee the reports she had made against Ashanty.

"Ayu immediately asked. To make him want to focus on what ee reports the trial will be at his PN and also ee to guard what ee LP-LP is," he explained.

Previously, a former employee of Ashanty, Ayu Chairun Nurisa, revealed that he had been officially named a suspect in the case reported by Anang Hermansyah's wife at the South Tangerang Police Station, namely embezzlement of funds.

"So, my status has been upgraded to TSK (suspect) as of October 10 yesterday and I received the letter on October 13," said Ayu Chairun Nurisa, a former Ashanty employee in the Depok area, West Java, Wednesday, October 15.

Ayu explained that she would soon fulfill the investigator's summons in the near future. "There will be a call on October 17 tomorrow at 10 am. That's my first call," he said.
