Google Doodle Today Celebrates Puspa Love Day And National Animals

The Love Day of Puspa and National Animals is a day to respect the biodiversity of the nation. Because Indonesia has a collection of the second richest life on Earth, including a unique species that cannot be found elsewhere.

Determined in 1993 through the Presidential Decree signed by President Soeharto, every November 5, all people are invited to protect and appreciate all the unique plants (puspa) and animals (satwa) of this nation.

Across the country, this warning encourages public awareness and conservation efforts to protect Indonesia's unique natural heritage for future generations.

Google claims that this handmade Doodle artwork brings together species from land, sea and air. Each illustration represents aspects of Indonesia's biodiversity and symbolizes connections and cross-world harmony.
