Bulog Soal Pembangunan 100 Gudang Baru: Anggaran Belum Cair

KARAWANG - Deputy President Director of Perum Bulog Marga Taufiq said the plan to build 100 new warehouse units is still in the discussion stage.

He said the planning stage was the main focus before the physical project began.

Still said Marga, this process is important so that development is as needed and pays attention to the efficiency of Bulog distribution networks in various regions.

"We don't want this development to be wrong. So that when the infrastructure is built, we really have to be able to operate as much as possible," said Marga in Karawang, West Java, Tuesday, November 4.

Regarding the factory construction budget of IDR 5 trillion, Marga said the funds had not been disbursed.

He said Bulog was waiting for the administrative process and ratification of funding to comply with the applicable mechanism.

"Not yet, it's still in process," said Marga briefly.

Previously, Perum Bulog would receive an injection of funds from the government of IDR 5 trillion.

The funds will be used to build 100 new warehouse units.

Direktur Utama Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani bilang tambahan anggaran ini merupakan arahan dari Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang diputuskan dalam rapat terbatas (ratas).

“Jadi total anggaran yang diberikan oleh Bapak (Prabowo Subianto), totalnya ada Rp5 triliun untuk 100 gudang,” tuturnya ditemui di Kantor Badan Pangan Nasional, Senin, 13 Oktober.

Rizal mengatakan pembangunan 100 unit gudang baru ini akan diprioritaskan untuk daerah-daerah lumbung pangan, yang belum memiliki gudang.

“100 gudang itu diprioritaskan untuk ke lokasi-lokasi lumbung pangan yang kabupaten/kotanya belum ada gudang,” jelasnya.

Meski begitu, Rizal mengaku belum bisa memastikan ukuran atau kapasitas pasti dari gudang yang akan dibangun.

Sebab, pembangunannya akan memperhitungkan produksi di masing-masing wilayah.

“Gudangnya itu kan tidak semuanya harus sama. Karena kapasitas, kemampuan produksi masing-masing wilayah itu kan berbeda-beda. Ada yang luasan padinya, luas baku sawahnya luas, kebun jagungnya juga luas kan beda-beda. Jadi gudangnya juga menyesuaikan dengan kapasitas mereka produksinya,” ucapnya.

President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said this additional budget was a directive from President Prabowo Subianto which was decided in a limited meeting (ratas).

"So the total budget given by Mr. (Prabowo Subianto), the total is IDR 5 trillion for 100 warehouses," he said at the National Food Agency Office, Monday, October 13.

Rizal said the construction of 100 new warehouse units would be prioritized for areas of food barns, which do not yet have warehouses.

"The 100 warehouses are prioritized to locations for food barns whose districts/cities do not yet have warehouses," he explained.

Even so, Rizal admitted that he could not confirm the exact size or capacity of the warehouse to be built.

This is because the construction will take into account production in each region.

"The blocks don't all have to be the same. Because the capacity, the production capacity of each region is different. Some are the area of rice, the size of the rice fields is wide, the corn plantations are also wide, it's different. So the warehouses also adjust to their production capacity," he said.
