President Prabowo Subianto Affirms Financing Is Safe, Ready To Take Responsibility

President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the polemic of financing the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project.

This was conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto after testing the KRL in the Tanah Abang Station area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 4.

President Prabowo asked PT KAI and the public not to worry. President Prabowo admitted that he had studied debt and operational financing issues.

According to his calculations, Indonesia is still able to pay. President Prabowo also said that the government should not calculate the profits in providing decent public transportation for residents.

President Prabowo emphasized that public transportation is a mandatory service or Public Service Obligation (PSO).
