Danrem Ensures That Prada Lucky's Legal Process Of Death Is In Accordance With Procedures Without Intervention
KUPANG - Commander of Korem 161/Wira Sakti Brigadier General Hendro Cahyono ensured that the law enforcement process related to the death of the late Prada Lucky Namo was allegedly due to abuse by 22 of his colleagues in accordance with applicable regulations.
"I, as the commander of the region here (East Nusa Tenggara) always monitor the current trial process," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 4.
Danrem admitted that he had never intervened in this case, especially since the late Prada Lucky unit was not under the Korem 161/Wira Sakti Kupang.
Hendro also said that the legal process involving a number of TNI members was still ongoing, and the trial process was also carried out in a transparent and open manner to the public.
Danrem said that the case that happened to Prada Lucky was expected not to happen again in the working area of Korem 161/Wira Sakti Kupang.
Therefore, in every appeal to TNI soldiers in the region, Hendro always appealed to TNI soldiers to remain steadfast in discipline and maintain behavior.
"Because we already have the procedure, there are already stages of being a TNI soldier," he continued.
Danrem also mentioned that the report received from Dandim Rote was related to the violation of the code of ethics committed by the father of the late Prada Lucky.
"For Pelda Christian, I am also investigating the violation, hopefully in a short time we will see what report was submitted by the Commander of Kodim Rote," he added.
