Jetour Shanhai T1 Now Presents AWD Variant, 590 HP Power And 1,500 Km Tempuh Distance
JAKARTA Jetour, an SUV brand from Chery Automobile from China, introduced a new variant for their plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD. This version comes with an all-wheel drive (AWD) and a number of significant improvements in the performance and efficiency sectors.
The AWD variant carries a total power of up to 440 kW or about 590 horsepower with a peak torque of 840 Nm. This system combines a 1.5 TD turbo gasoline engine with 115 kW (154 hp) power and 220 Nm torque, along with two electric motors front motors produce 150 kW (201 hp) and a 310 Nm torque, while the 175 kW (235 hp) rear motorbike with a 310 Nm torque.
Launching from Carnewschina, Tuesday, November 4, this SUV is equipped with a lithium-iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 27.2 kWh which can cover a distance of up to 147 km in pure electric mode (according to CLTC standards). If the fuel tank has a capacity of 70 liters and the battery is fully charged, the total distance is claimed to reach 1,500 km.
In terms of dimensions, Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD has a length of 4,706 mm, a width of 1,967 mm, and a height of 1,840 mm with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm, only 5 mm different from the two-wheel drive version. Ground clearance reaches 185 mm, with an entrance angle of 28 degrees and an exit angle of 29 degrees. The SUV is also capable of crossing 600 mm deep puddles and pulling loads of up to 1,600 kg.

Entering the interior, Jetour equips this car with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips for infotainment systems, 10.25-inch instrument panels, and 15.6-inch central screens. There is also a smart driving system with a 7+X mode that adjusts control automatically according to road conditions, including an off-road field.
In terms of price, Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD is sold starting from 157,900 yuan or the equivalent of around Rp.355 million (exchange rate of Rp. 16,000 per US dollar) for the Exploration Edition variant. Meanwhile, the Discovery Edition variant is priced at 167,900 yuan, or around Rp. 378 million.

With great power, long range, and ability to cross various terrains, Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD targets consumers who need a tough but still efficient SUV.
