French WN Woman Sales Manager Bali Night Club Deported

A woman from a foreign national (WNA) from France with the initials KJB (32) was deported from the island of Bali for illegal work.

This foreign citizen works as a sales manager at a nightclub in the North Kuta area, Badung Regency, Bali. The income is IDR 20 million per month.

Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Bali, Winarko, said that the residents were proven to be carrying out work activities in Bali using Visa On Arrival (VOA) which should have been used for tourist purposes.

"Based on the results of the examination, KJB admitted to using an on-arrival visa to work," said Winarko in a written statement, Tuesday (4/11).

This French foreigner was detained by the Ngurah Rai Immigration officer on Monday, October 27.

From his confession, he used a residence permit for a visit, namely an on-arrival visa. Meanwhile, the Limited Stay Permit Card (Kamis) to work is said to be in the process of being processed.

This foreigner violated Article 75 jo. Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.

The deportation process was carried out on Monday (3/11) by a team from the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Division (Inteljakim).

KJB departed using Thai Airways on the Denpasar-Bangkok-Paris route.

In addition, KJB is also subject to immigration administrative measures in the form of deterrence from returning to Indonesia within a certain period of time.

Winarko emphasized that the Immigration of Ngurah Rai will continue to tighten supervision of the activities of foreign nationals in the Bali region.

"We are committed to maintaining immigration order and enforcing the law in a professional and humane way. We will act on any misuse of residence permits according to the rules," he said.
