Chairman Of The MPR Concerned Riau Governor Abdul Wahid Gets OTT KPK: Become A Lesson For All

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani said he was concerned about the arrest of the Governor of Riau, Abdul Wahid in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) hand arrest operation (OTT).

Muzani respects the legal process that is running at the KPK. He also hopes that the problems that ensnared Abdul Wahid can be resolved soon.

"Hopefully this problem can be resolved quickly. We are sorry," said Muzani at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 4.

Muzani also hopes that the problems that befell Abdul Wahid can be a lesson for all parties, especially regional heads.

"Hopefully the problem can be resolved quickly and yes this is a lesson for all of us," said the former Secretary General of Gerindra.

It is known that the KPK conducted an OTT against Riau Governor Abdul Wahid and nine other people. Abdul Wahid arrived at the KPK building, Jakarta on Tuesday, November 4.

The KPK has not explained the details of the case that made Abdul Wahid subject to OTT on Monday, November 3, the KPK said that a sum of money was secured in the OTT.

Those arrested by the KPK are still under investigation and will determine their legal status within 1x24 hours.
