Coordinating Minister Airlangga Believes Economic Growth In The Fourth Quarter Of 2025 Is The Highest This Year
Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto stated that national economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2025 or the October-December period was the highest this year.
"If various government programs are run optimally, we are sure that the fourth quarter will be the highest during this year," said Airlangga in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, November 4.
The program referred to by Coordinating Minister Airlangga is an internship program for new graduates, expansion of Income Tax incentives (PPh) 21, October-November Food Assistance, assistance for work accident insurance contributions, additional housing benefits for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, cash labor intensive, licensing deregulation and improvement of settlement quality.
In addition, the program in the form of strengthening downstreaming and investment is also a supporting factor for economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, economic growth in the third quarter of 2025, will be announced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on Wednesday (5/11) at 11.00 WIB.
"Economic growth in the second quarter was 5.12 percent, in the third quarter we are waiting for the announcement tomorrow at 11 o'clock, in the fourth quarter I am sure it is higher than 5.12 percent," he said.
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadives believes household consumption will score 5.5 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2025.
"The growth in household consumption is around 5.5 percent or less," said Purbaya at the Ministry of Finance Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (21/10).
Purbaya is optimistic that Indonesia's economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2025 can reach 5.67 percent, along with the strengthening of public consumption and the impact of the government's stimulus which will start to have an impact at the end of the year.
He assessed that the projection of the World Bank, which estimates that Indonesia's economic growth at the level of 4.8 percent this year does not fully reflect the ongoing recovery trend.
One indicator of economic improvement he highlighted, as seen from the increase in household consumption. The proportion of public spending for consumption reached 75.1 percent in September 2025, up from 74.8 percent compared to the previous month.

According to the State Treasurer, the increase cannot be separated from government policies that have started placing Rp200 trillion in financial systems since September 13, 2025.
As is known, the details of the placement of funds were carried out at Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) each amounting to Rp55 trillion, State Savings Bank (BTN) Rp25 trillion, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Rp10 trillion.
