Iptu TSH Member Of The Riau Islands Police Narcotics Director Involved In Riceing Entrepreneurs Examined By Bidpropam
JAKARTA - The Profession and Security Division (Bidpropam) of the Riau Islands Police (Kepri) took firm action against Iptu TSH, a member of the Narcotics Directorate of the Riau Islands Police, allegedly involved in extortion of a businessman in Batam City.
The Head of Public Relations of the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Pol. Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said the Bidpropam of the Riau Islands Police had secured and examined the police officers intensively.
"The person concerned (Iptu TSH) is being investigated in depth by Bidpropam investigators to ascertain all facts and facts related to the alleged violation," Pandra confirmed Monday, confiscated by Antara.
The middle-ranking police officer explained that Iptu TSH was suspected of being involved in abuse of authority during a fictitious raid on behalf of BNN at the Botania 1 Batam Flower Shophouse, Saturday, October 16.
According to Pandra, the Riau Islands Police Propam team moved quickly to respond to public complaints regarding the alleged abuse of authority.
"Indeed, the incident occurred on October 16, but the public complaint was received recently, and Bidporpam immediately responded to it to examine and detain the person concerned," he said.

Pandra added that currently the Riau Islands Police Bidpropam is asking for information from alleged violators of Iptu TSH to reveal the truth of the incident.
The suspect will be dealt with firmly if he is proven to have violated the rules, this is in accordance with the commitment of the Riau Islands Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Asep Safrudin to personnel who do not obey the disciplinary rules.
"If proven to have abused authority, the Riau Islands Police will take firm action in accordance with applicable legal provisions and regulations. This is a commitment and attention to take firm action against those who commit violations," said Pandra.
This fictitious raid case emerged after a businessman with the initials BJ admitted to being blackmailed by police officers and also the TNI.
Currently, the entrepreneur is making a report at the Military Police Detachment (Denpom) 1/6 Batam.
BJ admitted to being a victim of extortion under the guise of a fictitious raid on behalf of BNN.
It is suspected that this act was carried out by Iptu THS along with seven members of the TNI in Batam City.
