Holding A Remote Worker Visa But Working On Making Roti, Pakistani Citizen Arrested By Immigration Banda Aceh

BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh Immigration Office Class I Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) detained a Pakistani citizen suspected of violating a residence permit in Indonesian territory.

Head of the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Banda Aceh Gindo Ginting said the Pakistani citizen had the initials MB (44). MB was detained for investigation and investigation purposes.

Previously, MB was arrested on suspicion of misuse of residence permit at alving permit in the Lambhuk area, Banda Aceh City. Currently, MB is being held in the detention room of the Banda Aceh Immigration Office," Gindo said in Banda Aceh, Monday, November 3.

MB's arrest stems from a public report that said a Pakistani citizen worked in alving in the Lambhuk area, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh City.

Following up on the report, immigration officers conducted an investigation and found that MB worked as a baker in the lechery. The team then checked MB's immigration documents.

MB's actions are suspected of violating Article 122 letter (a) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. Currently, MB is undergoing further legal proceedings," said Gindo.
