Minister Of Transportation Dudy Lantik Teuku Faisal Fathani As Head Of BMKG
Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi inaugurated Teuku Faisal Fathani as Head of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) replacing Dwikorita Karnawati.
The inauguration took place today, Monday, November 3 at the Head Office of the Ministry of Transportation, Jakarta.
"This inauguration is part of efforts to strengthen organizations and refresh leadership to answer the needs of adaptive, professional human resources, and is able to strengthen synergies between the transportation sector and meteorological, climatological, and geophysical information systems," he said in an official statement, Monday, November 3.
Dudy said that this collaboration is the key in realizing national connectivity that is safe, safe and sustainable. Moreover, BMKG has a strategic role in maintaining public safety, security, and welfare, especially in the transportation sector.

Furthermore, Dudy also emphasized the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in facing future challenges, especially ahead of the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) and Eid 2026 transportation periods.
"I hope that the cross-sectoral collaboration and synergy between BMKG and the Ministry of Transportation in anticipating various matters related to the aspects of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics can be well established to ensure the safety, safety, and comfort of people's travel," he said.
