Apple To Launch IOS 26.2 Beta A Day After Public Release Of IOS 26.1
JAKARTA Apple will launch iOS 26.1 in a stable version on Monday, November 3. Once the operating system (OS) is launched, the company will test the next version of the OS.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple will launch iOS 26.2 in the fastest developer beta version on Tuesday, November 4. Apple is believed not to delay its OS launch so iPhone users will get updates on schedule.
iOS 26.1 will bring some small changes, one of which is a new 'Tinted' button for the Liquid Glass feature. This button is launched to increase reading, but has the potential to sacrifice interface aesthetics.
Not many new features are seen in this version because Apple seems to be focused on the next OS. iOS 26.2 Beta will reportedly launch alongside other Apple devices OS such as iPadOS 26.2 and macOS 26.2.

Just like the iOS version of 26.1, it is believed that the next OS will not include a new feature that is very prominent. The company may include only simple updates, but this may change over the course of testing time.
One of the features that will be present on iOS 26.2 is US passport support on Apple Wallet. This feature was promised to come at the end of the year. In addition, Apple also promises end-to-end encryption with RCS on 'coming software updates'.
Based on the pattern of releases in previous years, the public version of iOS 26.2 is expected in December. To find out more features that will be present, we need to wait for the development of this OS during beta testing.
