BPS Records Indonesian Export Capai 209.80 Billion US Dollars Until September 2025

JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that the export value reached 209.80 billion US dollars during January-September 2025. This figure is up 8.14 percent compared to the same period last year.

Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics, BPS Pudji Ismartini, said that oil and gas exports amounted to 10.03 billion US dollars. The export decreased by 14.09 percent.

"Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas exports was recorded to have increased by 9.57 percent with a value of 199.77 billion US dollars," he said in the BRS Release in Jakarta, Monday, November 3.

If according to the sector, said Pudji, the cumulative increase in the value of non-oil and gas exports will occur in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors.

"The manufacturing sector is the main driver for improving the performance of non-oil and gas exports from January to September 2025 with a contribution of 12.58 percent," he said.

The exports of the manufacturing sector rose quite large, namely palm oil, non-iron base metal, jewelry and valuables, organic basic chemicals sourced from agricultural products and semiconductors and other electronic components.

Pudji said, specifically in September 2025 the export value reached 24.68 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.41 percent compared to last September.

"The value of oil and gas exports was recorded at 0.99 billion US dollars, down 13.61 percent. The value of non-oil and gas exports was recorded to have increased by 12.79 percent with a value of 23.68 billion US dollars," he explained.
