Mother And Child In Bener Meriah Die Due To COVID-19
BANDA ACEH - Task Force on Handling COVID-19 In Bener Meriah District, Aceh stated that two COVID-19 positive patients who were mothers and children were reported to have died due to COVID-19 positive.
Spokesperson of the Task Force on Handling COVID-19 Bener Meriah Ilham Abdi said the two patients died were TS (60), the mother, and kindergarten, her son, a resident of one of the districts in Bener Meriah District.
"TS was initially reactive status of COVID-19 when it died on Tuesday (18/5), then on Wednesday (19/5) the letter of rt-PCR Balitbangkes test results received by the Covid-19 Task Force Team Bener Meriah confirmed the deceased TS positive COVID-19," said Ilham Abdi quoted antara.
He explained for TS children passed away on Wednesday, May 19, night at Muyang Kute Bener Meriah Hospital.
The COVID Task Force team has prepared and carried out burials for the deceased with health protocols and for the process of bathing the bodies assisted by members of the Ulama Consultative Assembly (MPU) Bener Meriah.
The task force urges that all parties can continue to be disciplined in complying with health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
According to him, there are still many people today who are ignorant of the application of prokes.
"We hope that there will be no more deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we continue to remind the public to take care of health and anticipation of the transmission of COVID-19. Especially now the rainy season, our immune system is disrupted and becomes an easy opportunity for viruses to enter the immune system," he said.
The number of COVID-19 positive patients in Bener Meriah District for the second wave since April 2021 has reached 53 people and three of them have died.
