Komdigi Launches Tunasdigital.id, Web Site Contains Guidelines To Maintain Children In Digital Space

JAKARTA - The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Communication and Digital has officially launched Tunasdigital.id, a website that contains guidelines to protect children from negative content.

This initiative is a follow-up to Government Regulation (PP) Number 17 of 2025 concerning Governance of the Implementation of Electronic Systems in Child Protection, known as PP Tunas.

The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Menkomdigi), Meutya Hafid, stated that the presence of Tunasdigital.id further reinforces the country's commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy digital space for Indonesian children.

"Tunasdigital.id can become a knowledge channel for mothers to understand how to bring their children in the digital era," Meutya said in her official broadcast quoted Monday, November 3.

The Minister of Trade explained that the platform does not only contain theoretical material, but also contains various sharing experiences from mothers, tips on taking care of children while surfing in the digital space, to educational content from experts.

"Content from experts is very important, for example, which apps are safe for children, which apps are for adults, which games can be played for children of this age and which games are not allowed yet," he added.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Public Communication and Media (Dirjen KPM) of the Ministry of Communication and Digi, Fifi Aleyda Yahya, also emphasized Komdigi's commitment to accompanying Indonesian families to take care of children in the digital era.

"This is a digital literacy movement that provides parents to sort out information, maintain online ethics, and explore cyberspace safely," concluded Fifi.
