Victory 3-0 Against Leverkusen, Munich Haus Victory Against French Giants In The Champions League

Bayern Munich is ready to face Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League match, Wednesday, November 5 in the morning WIB, after winning a convincing 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the German League, today.

"We are not afraid to face anyone because we know the quality of the team we have," said Bayern Munich goalkeeper and captain Manuel Neuer, quoted from the club's official website in Jakarta, Sunday, November 2.

Neuer said the victory over Leverkusen was an important asset to increase the team's confidence ahead of the match against PSG.

"For me, this is a 50:50 match between us and Paris Saint-Germain. They are a great team, but we can also give them a problem. We are ready for that match," said the German goalkeeper.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany emphasized that the rotation of players against Leverkusen aims to maintain the main squad's fitness for an important match against PSG.

I call rotation a competition. Now I look to the game against PSG. We will play with enthusiasm. The players are confident, and this will be a great match," said the Belgian coach.

Bayern won 3-0 over Bayer Leverkusen in the German League continued at the Allianz Arena Stadium, Munich, Sunday (2/11) early morning WIB. Serge Gnabry scored the goal in the 25th minute, Nicholas Jackson in the 31st minute, and Loic Bade's own goal in the 43rd minute.

The victory made Bayern stronger at the top of the German League standings with 27 points from nine matches, without losing in domestic and European competitions this season.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen are stuck in fifth place in the standings with 17 points from nine matches, the result of five wins, two draws, and two defeats.
