Vice President Gibran: Semarang Flood Handling Needs Central And Regional Synergy
SEMARANG - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka said flood management in Semarang City needed collaboration between the central and regional governments.
"The synergy between the central and regional governments, we hope that soon we will find a solution together," said Vice President Gibran in Semarang, Antara, Sunday, November 2.
He said that the flood management solutions in the capital city of Central Java had been prepared, including by optimizing the Terboyo retention pond.
In addition, according to him, the giant sea embankment is also expected to overcome the floods that regularly come during the rainy season.
The performance of the Governor of Central Java and the Mayor of Semarang who have tried to deal with these natural disasters is also praised by Gibran.
