Riza Chalid And Jurist Tan Have Not Been Touched, Interpol Are Still Investigating Red Notice From The Police

JAKARTA - The National Police's International Relations Division (Divhubinter) ensures that the process of submitting red notices to two fugitives, Riza Chalid and Jurist Tan, is still ongoing. Currently, the application file is being investigated by Interpol headquarters in Lyon, France.

Secretary of NCB Interpol Indonesia, Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, said the process took time because it had to go through a strict assessment and verification stage from Interpol.

"It's still in process," said Untung when confirmed, Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Untung menjelaskan bahwa penerbitan red notice oleh Interpol tidak bisa dilakukan secara cepat karena harus melalui mekanisme penilaian menyeluruh.

"Still being reviewed and assessed by Interpol HQ. Interpol notice usually takes a few months because the procedure is like that," he said.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) had named Muhammad Riza Chalid in the People's Wanted List (DPO) related to the alleged corruption case of crude oil governance and refinery products at PT Pertamina (Persero).

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the AGO, Anang Supriatna, said that the DPO determination against Riza Chalid was carried out by investigators from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes since August 19, 2025.

Anang said that the determination of the fugitive status was carried out because Riza Chalid was absent three times from the summons for examination as a suspect.

Investigators not only set a DPO, but also submitted a red notice to Interpol for Riza Chalid. Currently the process is still ongoing and is being discussed with Interpol NCB," explained Anang.

Apart from Riza Chalid, the AGO has also named the owner of PT Orbit Terminal Merak as a new suspect along with eight other suspects in the alleged corruption case of crude oil governance and refinery products at PT Pertamina Subholding'KKS for the 2018-2023 period.

The nine suspects are Alfian Nasution (AN) as Vice President of Supply and Distribution of the Head Office of PT Pertamina (2011 2015); Hanung Budya Marityanta (HB) as Marketing and Commerce Director of PT Pertamina (2014); Toto Nugroho (TN) as Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (2017 2018); Dwi Sudarsono (DS) as Vice President of PT Pertamina (2018) (2018); Martin Haendra Nata (MH) as Business Development Manager of PT Travigura (20192021); Indra Putra Harsono (IP) as Business Development Manager of PT Mahameru Kencana Abadi; and Muhammad Riza Chalid (MRC) as a beneficial owner of PT Orbit Terminal Merak.
