The Government Will Open The National Handling Program For Batch 2 Universities Graduates For 80 Thousand Participants
JAKARTA - The government has re-launched the Batch 2 College Graduate National Handling Program in early November 2025 with a target quota of 80 thousand participants.
This program is a continuation of Batch 1 which started on October 20, 2025, with a quota of 20 thousand participants.
Spokesperson for the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Haryo Limanseto said that the transition from education to the world of work is an important phase that must be facilitated properly so that there is no gap between skills and job opportunities.
"The national apprenticeship program itself is held as part of a national priority program which also reflects the Government's concern for the younger generation," he said in his statement, quoted on Sunday, November 2.
He added that through this program, new graduates from universities can have a real opportunity to gain work experience directly and also increase competitiveness in the labor market.
"The government hopes that internship participants will not only get work skills and work experience, but further also be taught about work discipline and cultural changes from the world of learning to the world of work," he said.

Reporting from the official website of the Manganghub Ministry of Manpower, the series of apprenticeship programs for the second batch starts with company registration and proposals for a apprenticeship program from October 24 to November 5, 2025.
Then proceed with the registration process for apprentices on November 6-12 2025 and on November 12-20, 2025, a selection process will be carried out and the announcement of the apprenticeship participants will be carried out.
The national batch 2 apprenticeship program will be implemented from November 24, 2025, to May 23, 2026.
During the program, the interns will be given pocket money equivalent to the Regency/City Minimum Wage which will be distributed immediately without any deductions. In addition, the interns will also receive the protection of Employment Social Security.
This apprenticeship program is carried out on companies, government agencies, and/or independent state institutions that meet the requirements to organize a Handling Program.
As of October 31, 2025, the number of companies/agencies that had registered on the Manganghub website was recorded at 1,942 companies.
Through this program, companies/agencies can directly provide guidance to university graduates so that they are ready to work according to industrial needs and at the same time screen the potential of the workforce.
"As part of the Economic Package program launched by the Government, this program is one of the programs with a very good response so that hopefully this will also have a significant impact on job creation and at the same time contribute to national economic growth," he concluded.
