With Rare Lunar Network Infections In Thighs, Dwi Andhika Must Undergo Riskful Operations
Presenter Dwi Andhika shared his tough experience when he had to fight against a rare disease that attacked his thigh.
At first, he thought he only had a type after two weeks of fever. However, his condition worsened when doctors found soft tissue infection, potentially serious and high risk disease.
"The first two weeks of type, it turns out that when the hospital was checked on the thigh, there was a soft tissue infection," said Dwi Andhika in the South Jakarta area, recently.
These infections cause lumps and inflammation throughout the thighs to make it sore that it is difficult to walk. He also had to undergo surgery to remove the abscess or dirty blood which lasted almost two hours.
"It's almost two hours because his position was wrongly hit by a lymph node, a little bit close to the large circulation of bloodways," explained Andhika.
"So it really needs to be very thorough to take the dirty blood," he continued.
After the operation, Andhika still had to endure pain because the tube was attached to her thigh for four days to remove the remaining blood.
"He was stabbed in the same name as a hose. So for four days the blood had to come out continuously," he recalled.
