Export Efficiency And Performance Is Increasingly Optimal, GIS Records Profitability Amid Domestic Market Challenges

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) reported that the consolidated financial performance was not audited for the January-September period 2025, with the following summary:

The sales volume was 27.46 million tons. Revenue was recorded at IDR 25.30 trillion. The cost of revenue was recorded at IDR 20.31 trillion. The EBITDA was recorded at IDR 3.28 trillion. Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity amounted to IDR 114.84 billion.

SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni, said that in addition to transforming domestic market management, SIG also continues to maximize regional market potential to keep the company's performance positive amid contracted domestic cement market conditions.

Until the third quarter of 2025, GIS recorded regional sales of 6.08 million tons, an increase of 18 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the same period the previous year of 5.16 million tons.

SIG is also committed to strengthening its position in the domestic cement industry through micro market management and leadership in various national projects. These efforts show positive results, reflected in a consistent increase in sales in the third quarter and contributed to total domestic sales during the first nine months of 2025.

In terms of costs, SIG's strategic steps in carrying out efficiency strictly and increasing operational excellence in a sustainable manner succeeded in reducing the cost of revenue down 0.6 percent yoy and operating expenses (beyond income and other operating expenses) down 2.3 percent yoy.

Thanks to the implementation of good financial governance, GIS has also managed to record a lower net financial cost of 35.5% yoy, thereby strengthening overall financial performance.

SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni, said that various strategic initiatives were carried out to help SIG record profitability in the first nine months of 2025. This achievement proves the Company's ability and resilience in dealing with domestic cement market conditions that are still slowing down.

Furthermore, Vita added that SIG consistently promotes the use of low-carbon cement and its derivative products as part of its commitment to encourage the realization of sustainable development in Indonesia.
