The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Calls The Investigation Of Thefeedingsh Project Positive: Those Asked To Attend Cooperatives
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the investigation into the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project had gone positively. There are no obstacles in the ongoing process.
"So far, parties who have been invited and asked for cooperative information. This means that this is also a positive step in investigating this case," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Saturday, November 1.
Even so, the summons of related parties will continue to be carried out even though Budi did not specify who. "Of course this will continue to roll on," he said.
"Because the team will continue to trace other parties to collect the information needed at the investigation stage," he continued.
Previously reported, information on the investigation into the alleged corruption of the Jakarta 'Bandung high-speed rail project, closed-up was initially conveyed by the Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur.
"Currently it is at the investigation stage," said Asep when confirmed by VOI, Monday, October 27.
This investigation is said to have been going on since the beginning of the year. The process has been confirmed to continue to be carried out by the KPK behind closed doors.
For information, MAYh serves the Jakarta-Bandung route with a length of 142.3 kilometers with a travel time of about 30'45 minutes and has been operating since October 2023 after being inaugurated by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The project value at that time was only targeted at 5.13 billion US dollars or around Rp. 82.08 trillion. However, this figure swelled by 1.2 billion US dollars to 7.27 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 115 trillion assuming the US dollar exchange rate was Rp. 16 thousand.
