Indonesia Controls The Top 5 Of The 2025 Woodball World Ranking

JAKARTA Woodball Indonesia has again made history on the world sports scene. After the end of the Hong Kong International Open Championship 2025 which became the closing tournament of the season, the official results of the International Woodball Tour Ranking 2025 put Indonesian athletes at the top of the world, both in the men's and women's sectors.

In the women's sector, Siti Masitiah (INA21142) performed extraordinary and closed the season as the world's first place with a total of 386.100 points.

His compatriot, Finda Tri Setianingrum (INA21664), followed in second place in the world with 272.350 points.

These two names are a symbol of the world women's woodball new power and emphasize Indonesia's dominance in that category.

No less impressive, in the men's sector, Ahris Sumariyanto (INA11219) also ended his year in the world's first place with 341,950 points.

Meanwhile, Susilo Marga Nugraha (INA11835) and I Putu Ari Kuncoro (INA122523) are ranked fourth and fifth in the world, respectively.

With this achievement, Indonesia is the only country that places many representatives in the top five in the world as well as in two categories of unprecedented achievements in the history of internationalwoodball.

Chairman of the PB Indonesia Woodball Association (IWbA), Aang Sunadji, expressed his high appreciation for all teams and athletes.

Throughout 2025, Indonesian athletes will compete in eight prestigious international tournaments that fall into the Major Tour 2025 category, namely the event that is included in the calculation of the official International Woodball Tour Ranking points recognized by the Asian Woodball Federation (AWbF) and the International Woodball Federation (IWbF).

The tournament series includes Weng Lu Shou Cup 2025 (China Taipei), Malaysia International Woodball Championship 2025, AWbF University Woodball Championship 2025 'Malaysia, Singapore International Woodball Open 2025, 13th Asian Cup Woodball Championship 2025 (Indonesia), 7th AICE Indonesia Open 2025, Beach Woodball World Cup 2025 (Thailand), and finally Hong Kong International Open 2025.

In each of these events, Indonesian athletes always appear consistent at the top, both in the stroke play and fairway numbers.

This success shows the maturity of the athletes' tactics and mentality, as well as the full support of PB IWbA which continues to strengthen national training, competition and international participation programs.

PB IWbA emphasized that this success does not only belong to athletes, but also the collective work of the entire Indonesianwoodball ecosystem, starting from coaches, regional administrators, Central KONI, NOC Indonesia, as well as support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora).
