Perpetrators Of Racist Harassment Of Marcus Rashford Will Get A Fine Of 4 Thousand Euros
JAKARTA - Spanish authorities recommend a fine of 4,000 euros to Real Oviedo supporters on suspicion of directing racist abuse against Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford.
The Spanish Government's Counterviolence Commission said in a statement on Thursday, October 30, 2025, local time that in Barcelona's league win over Real Oviedo 3-1 on September 25, 2025, an Oviedo fans were heard throwing racial insults at Rashford in Spanish.
"LaLiga detected the images on social media and filed a complaint with the National Police."

"Furthermore, the analysis of the footage from the stadium's Organizational Control Unit (UCO) camera allows the identification of the alleged perpetrator."
"The processing of this proposal will depend on the final decision made in the criminal process," the statement said.
Authorities have not confirmed when the final decision will be taken.
The 27-year-old forward is currently on loan at Barcelona for one season from Manchester United.
The British striker has experienced racist abuse throughout his career. In 2021, a man was jailed in England for racial abuse against Rashford on social media after the striker failed to execute a penalty in England's defeat in the Euro 2020 final.
