Elderly Woman In Tabanan Bali Found Dead, Machete Next To Her
TABANAN - An elderly woman with the initials NMS (61) was found dead in her room in Perean Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency, Bali.
"For evidence of a large blade (machete) with a wooden handle," said Tabanan Police Public Relations Chief Iptu I Nyoman Subagio, Thursday, May 20.
The victim was found dead in the room with a stab wound to the chest. There was also a machete in the room.
The incident was immediately reported to a neighbor. According to police the victim had previously intended to commit suicide.
"In addition, (the witness) explained that the victim had tried to commit suicide about a year ago by scratching a knife in his left hand and in addition to having diabetes had chronic diabetes," said Iptu Subagio.
