Argentine PM Resigns, Replaced By Spokesperson For President Milei

JAKARTA - Argentine President Javier Milei has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Guillermo Francos, according to the presidential office in a statement.

"The president accepted Guillermo Francos' resignation as prime minister," the statement said, as quoted by RIA Novosti on Saturday, November 1.

Milei expressed his gratitude for Francos' work and highlighted his important role in carrying out government reforms.

"Manuel Adorni will replace him as the new prime minister on Monday," the statement said, referring to the presidential spokesman.

It was also stated that the replacement was carried out to update political dialogue.

Earlier, President Milei promised to reshuffle the cabinet after the part-time parliamentary election which was held on October 26.
