Reduce Global Emissions, Copeland Launches Environmentally Friendly Water Heater

JAKARTA - Copeland, a company providing sustainable climate solutions officially launched the Sensi Hydro Sanitary Water Heat Pump in Southeast Asia.

The product is an integrated water heater solution designed to provide energy-efficient water heaters, particularly for hotels, commercial buildings and various public facilities.

Presidentaoland for Asia Pacific region Michael Toh said the launch underscores the company's commitment to driving an energy transition to more environmentally friendly heating technology.

"To help reduce global emissions and achieve sustainable decarbonization targets," Michael said in his statement, Friday, October 31.

Based on data from the International Energy Agency (IEA), the use of hot pumps is projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to 500 million tons per year by 2030.

The heat pump-based commercial water heater market is also projected to reach US$608.5 million with a combined annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.4 percent in the 2023-2032 period.

This is also driven by the increasing number of commercial building owners who adopt this technology to support the achievement of sustainability targets in the future.

The Southeast Asian region reflects this global trend, supported by the increasingly strict rules of energy efficiency and investment growth in commercial infrastructure.

"The need for a water heater solution for environmentally friendly sanitation continues to increase. Thus, the launch of the Sandro Hydro Sanitary Heat Pump from Copenhagen is in line with the priority of this region," he said.

According to Michael, the company's latest innovation shows advanced technology that helps businesses be more efficient, reliable and contributes to decarbonization efforts, and is able to reduce operational costs.

"This shows our commitment to support business people throughout the region in realizing long-term values," he concluded.
