JAKARTA - In the spirit of commemorating Youth Pledge Day, EIGER Adventure Land participated in a series of ceremonies and tree planting events with the ranks of the Ministry of Environment (KLH), Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, Megamendung Sub-district Head Ridwan, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Mulyadi, ranks of PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN), Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park Center, as well as several service representatives, Operational Cooperation (KSO), community organizations, and related stakeholders.

This planting agenda is also a direct implementation of the direction of the Minister of Environment (LH), Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, after the decision to lift sanctions against several KSOs, which are currently in the process of returning to operations according to the guidelines and sustainability policies set by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

As part of the series of events, KLH announced that the ecotourism area, including EIGER Adventure Land, will soon be allowed to resume operations. The good news was conveyed by DPR RI member Mulyadi during a tree planting activity in one of the EIGER Adventure Land areas on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

"In the not too distant future, I have received an explanation that I am just waiting for the administrative process. Hopefully the seal can be lifted next week, on Tuesday to be exact," Mulyadi said, in his statement, quoted Friday, October 31.

According to him, this momentum is a common ground between law enforcement, environmental conservation, and without forgetting the side of natural gift that can be used as a source of people's livelihoods. Meanwhile, Deputy for Environmental Law Enforcement KLH/BPLH Inspector General. Pol. Rizal Irawan said that there are several business fields whose seal will be revoked, including EIGER Adventure Land.

"So keep in mind my friends that Law 32 is a restoration spirit, enforcement of the spirit environment is restoration, restoration or restoration of the environment," he said.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto emphasized that the KLH's move was aimed at preserving the South Bogor area, especially Puncak.

"We want the investment world in Bogor Regency to stay alive, so that all business sectors can run without ignoring environmental sustainability," he said.

President Director of PT Eiger Ekotourism Nusantara, Imanuel Wirajaya, said that EIGER Adventure Land is always committed to preserving nature as well as empowering the local community.

For EIGER, loving nature is not just a slogan, it is a call and responsibility. We really hope to be part of the solution, not only through planting activities, but also by building a sustainable natural tourism ecosystem and providing benefits to the life around it," said Imanuel Wirajaya.

Imanuel also expressed his deep appreciation for the policies and decisions of the Ministry of Environment which support economic progress that is in line with the preservation of the environment, culture, and welfare of the community.

"Thank you to the Ministry of Environment for opening up space for dialogue and showing wise consideration. For us, the lifting of sanctions is not just an administrative decision, but an opportunity to realize sustainable ecotourism as well as our common hope; a place where nature is maintained, the community is empowered, and becomes a trace of inspiration for the nation's children tomorrow," he said.

Youth Pledge Day is a momentum for the Ministry of Environment (KLH) and Operational Cooperation (KSO) to reflect on efforts to restore the Puncak area, Bogor, an area that has a vital role for the balance of the ecosystem of the region below, including Jakarta. In the midst of the challenges of climate change and development pressure, Puncak's recovery is a symbol of a shared commitment to safeguarding the source of life that flows for millions of people.

For EIGER, who has been present for 36 years accompanying the younger generation of Indonesia in adventure and love nature, this love was realized through the birth of EIGER Adventure Land in 2017, a sustainable ecotourism in the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park Utilization Zone (TNGGP) covering an area of 253.66 hectares and a critical land of PTPN I Regional 2 covering an area of 73.23 hectares.

With the spirit of restoration, EIGER Adventure Land treads the road to a green economy with the Indonesian government, has planted more than 100,000 trees and 8 million shrubs in recent years, so that the land can recover, both from an ecological and economic perspective, to become a living, productive, and meaningful state asset.
