Deputy Mayor Of Bandung Examined By The Prosecutor's Office, Denies OTT Issues: I'm Just A Witness
BANDUNG - Deputy Mayor of Bandung Erwin admitted that he was questioned by the Bandung City District Attorney regarding the alleged corruption case of abuse of authority within the Bandung City Government for the 2025 fiscal year.
"Yes, some are like that (related to allegations of corruption). Maybe materials need to go to Pak Kajari, just the point is that hopefully with yesterday's summons, the Bandung City Government will be better," Erwin said in Bandung, Friday, October 31, quoted by Antara.
Erwin emphasized that he underwent examination only as a witness and had nothing to do with the arrest operation (OTT) as was the issue that developed on social media.
"I don't know where it came from, they can report me OTT. Then now I'm also surprised there is also news of OTT," he said.
He stated that he fully respects the legal process by supporting the Bandung City Kejari to eradicate corruption cases within the local city government.
"My presence is a form of moral responsibility and support for ongoing law enforcement efforts," he said.
He is also committed to carrying out this case transparently and responsibly by complying with a summons from the Bandung Kejari to assist the investigation process.
