Viral Action Of Deputy Regent Pidie Jaya At Officers, Hasan Basri Conveys Open Apology
PIDIE JAYA - Deputy Regent of Pidie Jaya, Hasan Basri finally apologized publicly after his action that hit the head of the Pidie Jaya nutrition fulfillment service unit (SPPG), Muhammad Reza (27), went viral on social media.
In the 45-second video circulating, Hasan is seen wearing a blue shirt and black cap. With a tone of regret, he apologized to the victim and all SPPG ranks in Trieng Gadeng District.
"I apologize for my mistake and my appreciation to Ananda Reza, regarding the beating at SPPG Gampong Sagoe, Trieng Gadeng District. In this case, I personally apologize to the family and SPPG," Hasan said in the video.
The incident was known to have occurred when Hasan conducted a review of the kitchen of the free nutritious food program (MBG) in Gampong Sagoe. He is called emotional after accusing school children of cold food.
The beating was caught on camera and spread widely on social media. This action sparked criticism from various circles. Many netizens considered this action inappropriate for a public official.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of BGN Sony Sonjaya emphasized that his party would not tolerate any form of violence against MBG program implementers and had reported the incident to the authorities.
The MBG program is carried out with a spirit of humanity and mutual cooperation. SPPG officers work in the field with full responsibility according to technical instructions.
