JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) approved holding a trial for five members of the House of Representatives whose parties were deactivated, including Uya Kuya and Nafa Urbach as a continuation of public demonstrations in August 2025.
The chairman of MKD Nazaruddin Dek Gam revealed that the five members were Ahmad Sahroni and Nafa Urbach from Nasdem, Eko Hendro Purnomo alias Eko Patrio, Surya Utama alias Uya Kuya from PAN, and Adies Kadir from Golkar.
"Agreeing with further handling of several members of the DPR with inactive status," he said in his statement, quoted on Thursday, October 30.
Nazaruddin added that the decision was taken after his party held a closed meeting on Thursday (30/10/2025). The decision was attended by four of the five MKD leaders, including him.
"MKD will continue to carry out its constitutional duties professionally, independently and guided by the principles of ethical enforcement," he said.

However, Nazaruddin has not disclosed in detail when the MKD will hold the Sahroni, Nafa Urbach, and Uya Kuya ethics hearings.
Previously, the five members of the DPR for the 2024-2029 period were deactivated by their respective political parties after the controversial statement that sparked public anger and led to mass action to the looting of Sahroni, Uya Kuya, Eko Patrio and Nafa Urbach's homes.
