Good News From Veda Ega Pratama For The 2026 Season, Up To Moto3 With Honda Team Asia
JAKARTA - Indonesia's talented young racer, Veda Ega Pratama, recorded a positive score for the 2026 racing season. He is reportedly one step up to the Moto3 World Championships.

The same source said that Veda's certainty of joining Honda Team Asia could not be separated from her brilliant performance during the 2025 season at the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The racer from Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, managed to finish as runner-up in the final standings.
Of the 14 racing series that have been undertaken, Veda has successfully collected 181 points with details of three wins. The record is only 55 points adrift of the champion, BrianLARte.

The same report also highlights the fact that Veda will get a special permit to compete.
His status as runner-up Red Bull Rookies Cup earned him a dispensation to be able to race at the World Championships even though he has not reached the minimum age limit of 18 years.

Later on the Honda Team Asia, Veda will fill the position left by the Japanese racer, Taiyo Furusato.
Furusato will be promoted to Moto2 next season and stay with Team Asia. Furusato's promotion was driven by his impressive performance this season.
He is now in eighth place in the Moto3 standings with 140 points and has just won his first victory at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia.
"After winning the first victory in his Moto3 career in the 2025 Malaysian Grand Prix race, Furusato is now finalizing the final details before being officially announced to advance to Moto2 class with Team Asia," wrote Sky Sport Italia.
Finally, Sky Sport Italia emphasizes that this agreement has been completed behind the scenes and is just waiting for an official announcement.
"Although there has been no official announcement yet, all negotiations have been completed. Furusato will compete in Moto2, and Pratama (Veda) will race in Moto3, both under the Team Asia flag," the report concluded.
