70 Football Talents Throughout Jabodetabek Struggle To Enter LOTTE Young Stars Of Future Generation 2025

JAKARTA - THE 2025 Future Generation Young Star LOTTE has rolled out. 70 of the best talents gathered in the Soccerfield field, Bogor, West Java to fight to become one of the 40 selected participants to train and compete in the program initiated by LOTTE Group through Daehong Indonesia. They were directly tested by Indonesian football legends, namely Coach Ismed Sofyan and Coach Atep Rizal by undergoing various challenges that assessed their football capabilities.

Prior to this selection stage, the journey of the 2025 Young Star LOTTE began with the search for 70 talents of young footballers aged 10-12 years from hundreds of schools from various regions. The search for this young talent was immediately carried out by Coach Ismed Sofyan and Coach Atep Rizal. In this selection stage, participants are assessed for their potential by being given challenges such as drabling, passing, and shooting.

"As coaches, we must be selective in choosing young players. What we choose is those who have basics, abilities, and skills. That's what we have to prioritize," explained Coach Ismed regarding the criteria for players for the 2025 Future Generation Young Star LOTTE, quoted Thursday, October 30.

After passing the selection process, 70 children will finally be selected to take the opportunity to follow the advanced stage of the 2025 Future Generation Young Star LOTTE which will be held on the Soccerfield field, Bogor, West Java. They have to fight again to enter the top 40 by doing several challenges that test their physical and football capabilities such as the Fun Run Race where players have to jump and sprint zigzag through obstacles, the Fun Dribling Race where players have to drift zigzag on track, Shooting/Passing where players have to put the ball into small goal.

After all the players finished the challenge, Coach Ismed Sofyan and Coach Atep Rizal conducted an assessment and discussed quite intensely to determine who met the standards to qualify for the 2025 Young Generation Star LOTTE.

The announcement process for players who qualify for the top 40 is carried out uniquely. All participants were given a bag containing the ball. One by one the players were given a signal by host Stewart Henry to open and remove the ball from the bag. If their ball has the LOTTE logo then the player is declared qualified. On the other hand, if the ball is plain, it means they don't qualify for the next round.
