Bahlil Aims For The 3T Electricity Distribution 100 Percent By 2030
MINAHASA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia targets areas to be left behind, frontier, and outermost (3T) to be 100 percent electric by 2030.
Bahlil said, during the 80 years of Indonesia's independence, there were still 5,700 villages and 4,400 hamlets that had not yet been electrified.
"One of President Prabowo's Asta Cita programs is energy sovereignty, energy transition, in which is equalization of electrification, so because it is a noble task," said Bahlil, Wednesday, October 29.
Bahlil also highlighted Indonesia's electrification ratio which has reached 99.12 percent nationally. However, for the 3T region, the electrification ratio has not even reached 90 percent.
For this reason, he asked the Director General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE), Eniya Listiyani Dewi, Acting Director General of Electricity Tri Winarno and Director of PT PLN (Persero) Darmawan Prasodjo to prioritize development in the 3T area.
"The budget is already there. I ask to prioritize all 3T areas, finish them first," he explained.
Bahlil gave an example of the Sulawesi Itara Province where there are still 11 villages that have not been electrified because they are in an archipelago that is directly adjacent to the Philippines.

Sementara untuk wilayah Sulawesi Utara, dirinya mengultimatum harus dilistriki tahun depan.
"Sekali lagi saya perintahkan, agar 2029 sampai 2030, semua desa, semua kelurahan, sudah harus ada listrik, tidak boleh lagi kita biarkan anak-anak kita masa depan bangsa tidak merasakan fasilitas yang layak untuk mereka bisa sekolah baik, bisa kesehatan baik, kemudian bisa ekonominya baik, agar nelayan yang bisa juga menangkap ikan hasilnya bisa terjaga dan bisa dijual dengan harga yang baik," tandas Bahlil.

He emphasized that all 3 T regions will be electrified from 2029 to 2030.
Meanwhile, for the North Sulawesi region, he gave an ultimatum to be electrified next year.
"Once again I have ordered, that in 2029 to 2030, all villages, all sub-districts, there must be electricity, we can no longer let our children in the future the nation does not feel the proper facilities for them to be able to go to school well, can have good health, then the economy can be good, so that fishermen who can also catch fish can be maintained and can be sold at a good price," said Bahlil.
