Ministry Of Manpower Opens Batch 2 National Internship Program For 80,000 Fresh Graduate Positions
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) opens opportunities as well as invites the business world to play an active role in the success of the Batch 2 National Handling program for Higher Education Graduates and is targeted to be running in mid-November 2025.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli said that in Batch 2, the government opened around 80,000 fresh graduates who were interested and eligible to participate in apprenticeship programs in various industrial sectors throughout Indonesia.
Pada Batch 1, telah dilaksanakan untuk 20,000 peserta sejak 13 Oktober 2025 yang lalu.
"In batch 2, the Ministry of Manpower encourages the expansion of internship access, not only private companies and SOEs but also the offices of Ministries/Institutions and Regional Governments. To note that the company's involvement reflects the company's commitment to national social and economic development," Yassierli said in a statement to the media quoted Thursday, October 29.
He explained that the 2025 National Internship Program is a Government initiative that aims to improve the skills and work readiness of tertiary graduates, provide direct work experience in companies, and encourage active involvement in the business world in the development of National Human Resources.
"For 6 months, the intern will receive an UMK equivalent pocket money through Himbara Bank, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan protection with fees borne by the government," Yassierli continued.
He emphasized that through this national internship, companies or the business world will benefit. Among other things, access to quality young talents, contributions to national human resource development, efficiency in training costs, and becoming effective pre-recruitment facilities, as well as improvement of the company's social responsibility and image and responsibility.

"Pendaftaran dilakukan dengan mengisi data perusahaan dan mengajukan usulan program pemagangan. Setelah melalui proses verifikasi, perusahaan akan ditetapkan sebagai penyelenggara resmi dan dapat mulai merekrut peserta magang," tandas Yassierli.

"Registration is carried out by filling in company data and submitting a proposal for a apprenticeship program. After going through the verification process, the company will be designated as an official organizer and can start recruiting interns," said Yassierli.
