Real Madrid Will Not Law Vinicius For His Anger Reaction When Replaced At El Clasico
JAKARTA - Real Madrid will not punish or suspend Vinicius Junior for the player's angry reaction when he was replaced in El Clasico's match against Barcelona on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
The Brazilian looked furious at manager Xabi Alonso's decision to replace Rodrygo in the 72nd minute in Barcelona's 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu, when the game was still a draw.
Vinicius rushed off the pitch and headed for the tunnel, before returning to the bench to engage in confrontations with Barcelona players at the end of the whistle, which made him receive a yellow card.

ESPN reports that Alonso and Vinicius' relationship has been affected by the incident. Both are expected to speak live when Real Madrid players return to training on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, local time.
Although at the executive level the club has chosen not to impose sanctions on Vinicius for what happened, Alonso is free to make technical decisions according to his wishes.
A club spokesman was not willing to comment when contacted by ESPN, saying that disciplinary matters would remain an internal matter.
Vinicius--runner-up Ballon d'Or 2024 and award winner FIFA -- has been dropped three times from starting XI by Alonso so far this season.
Talks about a new contract for the star striker have yet to progress in recent months, with his current contract set to expire in 2027.
