KPK Finds Out DJKA Bribe Money Collectors Through 3 Witnesses

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the party who is the collector of bribes for the construction of a railway line within the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) at the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).

Three witnesses were questioned on Monday, October 27. The three witnesses are APS as an employee of BUMN; FH as the President Director of PT Karya Logistik Nusantara; and MH as a private sector. Requests for information were made at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The witness was present to fulfill the summons. Investigators are investigating witnesses regarding the arrangement of the auction and the provision of fees to the PPK as well as parties that are billowing funds for the benefit of the Directorate General of Railways," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in his statement, Wednesday, October 29.

Budi explained that investigators actually scheduled the examination of another witness, namely ASH as an employee of PT Istana Putra Agung. However, he did not answer the summons.

"It will be re-coordinated to reschedule the next examination," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK again detained three suspects in the bribery case for the procurement and maintenance of the railway line at the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA (Kemenhub). They are the head of a working group (Pokja) in a number of projects.

These three people are Hardho, Edi Purnomo, and Budi Prasetiyo. The determination of the three as suspects is the development of bribes by Dion Renato Sugiarto to the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) within the Semarang BTP.

The bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) related to allegations of corruption at the Class I Railway Engineering Center for the Central Java Region. This action was carried out on April 11, 2023.

From the silent operation, the KPK then named 10 suspects. Four parties are suspected of being bribers of the Director of PT Istana Putra Agung (IPA) Dion Renato Sugiarto (DIN); Director of PT Dwifarita Fajarkharisma, Muchamad Hikmat (MUH); Director of PT KA Management Properti until February 2023 Yoseph Ibrahim (YOS); and VP of PT KA Management Properti Parjono (PAR).

Meanwhile, those suspected of being recipients are the Director of Railway Infrastructure Harno Trimadi (HNO); Head of the Central Java Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Putu Sumarjaya; Commitment Making Officer (PPK) BTP Central Java Bernard Hasibuan (BEN); PPK BPKA South Sulawesi Achmad Affandi (AFF); PPK for Railway Infrastructure Fadliansyah (FAD); and PPK BTP West Java Synto Pirjani Hutabarat (SYN).

In addition, there are also two suspects who were named on January 22, 2024. They are Yofi Okatrisza as ASN at the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and former auditor of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Medi Yanto Sipahutar.
