Racco Kei Car Listrik From BYD Unjuk Gigi At The Japan Mobility Show
JAKARTA - BYD officially features its first electric car line for the Japanese market at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 and its official launch will take place next summer in Japan.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, October 29, Racoo's presence will be the fifth BYD model in Japan after Atto 3, Dolphin, Seal, and Sealion 7.
BYD Racco adopts a square exterior design and four angles typical of Japanese kei cars, and is equipped with four doors, including back sliding doors.
In dimensions, BYD Racco comes with a length of 3,395 mm, a width of 1,475 mm, a height of 1,800 mm which can accommodate four people as standards. On the front, a closed goal design is paired with a C-shaped headlights.

The back is equipped with a circular through-type rearlight design. The BYD brand logo in the middle can also turn on. The power will come from a front electric motor paired with a Blade (LFP) 20 kWh battery, giving the WLTC range as far as 180 km. DC 100 kW fast charging will also be supported.
Entering the cabin, the interior is equipped with instrument panels, a central control screen, a three-stop steering wheel, and a rectangular air conditioner outlet on the dashboard. This Chinese brand also features several interesting modifications emblazoned on the BYD booth, some full of colors to the off-road display.
In Japan, BYD Racco is priced at IDR 282 million. BYD targets Racco as an attractive alternative for consumers who want to switch to electric vehicles without having to spend a lot of money.
