IDX Revises IPO 2025 Target To 45 Companies And Sets 50 IPOs For 2026

JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) revised the initial public offering (IPO) target from the initial target of 66 companies to 45 companies for 2025.

Meanwhile, for 2026, the IDX has set a new IPO target of 50 companies and overall, the number of effects recorded in the capital market is projected to increase from 400 effects in 2025 to 555 effects in 2026.

"In terms of effect, we are talking about effects so far. The increase in our effect has increased to 555 new effects. From the previous target of around 400 effects to 555. With 50 shares (in 2026). This year's target is 45 (IPO), next year we are targeting 50 IPO shares," said IDX President Director Iman Rachman at a virtual press conference of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), Wednesday, October 29.

Iman explained that until October 24, 2025, the total number of companies listed on the IDX reached 955 entities.

As for this year, there have been 23 companies implementing IPOs, while 13 other companies are still in line or pipeline for listing shares.

Furthermore, Iman added that out of this total, there are five companies with large market capitalization or lighthouse companies that have implemented their IPOs this year.

According to him, this achievement is in line with the IDX's strategic targets and in the future it is targeting six lighthouse companies to carry out their IPOs.

"So this year we are targeting 6 lighthouses. So from the 50 IPOs, there are 6 IPO lighthouses. So earlier we didn't talk about just the number, but we also talked about the quality of the IPO," he explained.

Sebagai informasi, BEI sebelumnya menargetkan 66 perusahaan melakukan IPO pada tahun ini dan juga memproyeksikan pertumbuhan jumlah investor pasar modal sebanyak dua juta pada 2025.

Adapun hingga 24 Oktober 2025, terdapat lebih dari 4,2 juta investor baru atau tumbuh 28 persen dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya.

Dengan demikian, jumlah total investor pasar modal Indonesia kini mencapai 19,1 juta investor.

Dari keseluruhan data tersebut, jumlah investor saham mencapai 8 juta investor atau tumbuh hampir 5 kali lipat selama 5 tahun terakhir sejak tahun 2020.

For information, the IDX previously targeted 66 companies to conduct IPOs this year and also projected a growth in the number of capital market investors by two million by 2025.

As for October 24, 2025, there are more than 4.2 million new investors or grew 28 percent compared to the previous year.

Thus, the total number of Indonesian capital market investors now reaches 19.1 million investors.

Of the total data, the number of stock investors has reached 8 million investors or almost grown 5 times over the last 5 years since 2020.
