BGN Boss Believes Target Of 82.9 Million MBG Recipients Can Be Achieved This Year
JAKARTA - Head of the Dadan Hindayana National Nutrition Agency is optimistic that the target of distributing the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) of 82.9 million recipients will be achieved this year.
Dadan said, currently MBG has reached 39.2 million recipients who are met through 13,347 nutritional fulfillment service units (SPPG) or kitchens for the MBG program organizers.
"82.9 million (recipients) will be pursued by the end of this year. We want to finish it this year. So now there are 13,347 SPPGs," Dadan told reporters, written Wednesday, October 29.
To expand the reach of beneficiaries, Dadan said the kitchen for the MBG program organizers would continue to be added. Dadan believes that every day BGN can pass 200 SPPGs.
We can pass 200 SPG every day. And we also want to build 5,000 to 6,000 remote SPGs. So we are still optimistic that we can catch 82.9 million (recipients of MBG) by the end of this year," he said.
Currently, continued Dadan, MBG's budget absorption has reached Rp35 trillion to date. He said that the distribution of MBG to reach 82.9 million recipients was still short of budget of up to Rp33 trillion.
"Because for November only. We will need Rp14 trillion in November itself, December we will need Rp19 trillion in our own. We will definitely lack it," he said.
Regarding the sanitation higiene (SLHS) certificate, Dadan said as many as 690 units had the certificate from the number of SPPGs reaching 13,347 units that were already operating.
